Ghoomar Mahila Samiti is an all rural women-led social enterprise. Our initiative aims to build community institutions that empower women in attaining a better life. We have been working in 27 villages in Bali block, of Pali District, Rajasthan. Our efforts are focused on making every woman in the rural region live with dignity. We are working with Grasiya tribal women of the backward Bali block of Pali District. Most families that we work with fall in the below poverty line category. These women are facing many problems. Alcoholism and domestic violence is a common problem in the area. We have planned to give support to the women through counselling and rehabilitation.
